Progress is the part of learning to type that is easiest to lose faith in, because improvement happens too slowly to feel from one session to the next. This page exists to make it visible. It keeps a history of every typing test you finish, a daily practice streak, the number of lessons you have completed and a per-key heatmap of your accuracy.
A hits-and-misses count cannot see the keys that actually cap your words per minute. A key you always get right but visibly hunt for scores a perfect hundred per cent while being the single biggest brake on your typing. So every keystroke is timed as well as marked, each key is judged against your own median rather than a fixed figure, and a key that is reliably slow gets a marker of its own.
That self-calibrates: it works the same way for a child typing at twelve words per minute and an adult at ninety. Once enough clean samples exist, weak-key practice builds drills from your own worst keys rather than a fixed list, which is the fastest route to a higher score.
All of it is stored in your browser's local storage and never uploaded. There is no account to create and nothing to sign in to, which also means progress does not follow you to another device or survive clearing your browser data. If you reach a milestone worth keeping, the certificate can be printed or saved.
